The world’s only officially acclaimed definitive live tribute to Marc Bolan & T.Rex
T.Rextasy fire-walks with the greatest glam rock set list in history. They immediately demand that you stand up and boogie and sing-a-long to the songs that made Marc Bolan the leading force of the 1970’s Glam Rock era. After the initial impact of the uncanny resemblance to Marc Bolan in looks and voice from their charismatic frontman and lead guitarist Danielz, you will actually believe that you are watching the legendary man himself!
For over 13 years, T.Rextasy have toured constantly throughout the United Kingdom, Europe, and the Far East, playing concerts at the world’s most established venues such as Wembley arena (London), Birmingham NEC (Birmingham), and The Ariake Coliseum (Tokyo) to name a few, to gigging with Marc Bolan’s own contemporaries such as Slade, Roy Wood, Mungo Jerry, Cockney Rebel, The Sweet, Suzi Quatro, Ian Hunter (Mott the Hoople), Rolan Bolan (Marc Bolan’s son) and countless others.
Most of the original T.Rex members such as Mickey Finn (congas), Bill Legend (drums), Miller Anderson (guitar), and Jack Green (guitar) have also made guest appearances and played with Danielz and T.Rextasy over the past few years. In fact Dino Dines, the original keyboard player in T.Rex practically became a fully fledged member of T.Rextasy from 2001 – 2004 before sadly passing away.
There are many accolades and anecdotes that could be mentioned so here are just a few that happened throughout the 1990s
